Not Receiving Notifications

Troubleshoot missing Slack, Teams, or email alerts.

Check Channel Configuration

1. Go to Settings > Alert Channels

2. Verify each channel shows "Connected"

3. Click Send Test Alert to verify

Slack Issues

• Channel archived? - Reselect an active channel

• Bot removed? - Re-add OutflowGuard to the channel

• Notifications muted? - Check Slack notification settings

Teams Issues

• Connector removed? - Reconfigure the Teams connection

• Channel settings? - Ensure connector notifications are enabled

Email Issues

• Check spam folder - Our emails may be filtered

• Add to safe senders - Whitelist [email protected]

• Verify email address - Ensure the correct email is configured

Webhook URL Issues

If using webhook URLs:

• Verify the URL is correct and accessible

• Check if the URL has changed

• Test the webhook independently

Contact support with:

• Channel type (Slack/Teams/Email)

• When alerts stopped working

• Any error messages seen
