Connecting your Xero account to OutflowGuard takes just a few minutes and enables automatic monitoring of your supplier bank details.
An active Xero account with admin or standard user access
An OutflowGuard account
Sign in to OutflowGuard - Use your email to receive a magic link
Click "Connect Xero" - You'll find this on your dashboard or during initial setup
Authorise in Xero - Log in to Xero and grant OutflowGuard access to view contacts
Select Organisation - If you have multiple Xero organisations, select which one to connect
The first user to connect becomes the Owner of that organisation in OutflowGuard
Subsequent users who connect to the same Xero organisation become Members
Only numeric bank account changes trigger incidents (formatting changes are ignored)
If you experience connection issues:
Ensure you have sufficient permissions in Xero
Clear your browser cache and try again
Check that third-party app access is enabled in your Xero settings
