First-Time Setup Checklist

Follow this checklist to ensure OutflowGuard is fully configured for your organisation.

Essential Steps

1. Connect Xero

   • Click "Connect Xero" on the dashboard

   • Authorise access in Xero

   • Select your organisation

2. Configure Notifications

   • Set up at least one alert channel (email is available on all tiers)

   • Business tier: Add Slack or Microsoft Teams

   • Send a test alert to verify

3. Invite Team Members (Business tier and above)

   • Go to Settings > Team

   • Enter colleague's email and select role

   • Send invite

4. Enable Dual Approval (Optional, Business tier)

   • Go to Settings > Security

   • Toggle "Require Two-Person Approval"

   • Requires at least 2 team members

Testing Your Setup

Once configured:

1. Send a test notification to verify channels work

2. Review the dashboard to ensure Xero is connected

3. Confirm team members have accepted invites
