This guide walks through the complete two-person approval process from detection to payment release.
When a bank change is detected:
Incident created with "Paused" status
All team members notified via configured channels
First team member opens the incident
Verifies the bank change is legitimate
Enters verification details (name, method, notes)
Clicks "Record Verification"
Result: Status changes to "Pending 2nd Approval"
Notification sent that second approval is needed
First approver CANNOT be the second approver
A different team member opens the incident
Reviews the verification details
Either approves or rejects
Result: If approved, status changes to "Approved"
Any team member can now unlock
Enter unlock details
Payment can proceed
The system prevents the same person from being both first and second approver. If you try to approve your own verification, you'll see "Waiting for a second pair of eyes" message.
